Aalu Tikki Chaat
A simple and tasty street food or chaat recipes mainly prepared from potato tikki with other chaat chutney or spices. Tikki chaat is filling and appetising snack mainly originated from North India,but hugely popular all over India. Ingredients:
3 potatoes,boiled,peeled and mashed
4 tbsp oil
1 small sized onion(chopped)
1 small sized tomato(chopped)
1 tsp chat masala
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
3-4 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp jeera powder
1/4 tbsp turmeric powder
1/2 cup curd
1 cup coriander chutney
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp aamchur powder
Sev as required
Salt as per taste.
Method:
In a bowl take mashed potato add amchur powder,chat masala,salt ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder and corn flour mix all ingredients well.
Combine well form a dough.
Take a ball size dough and flatten slightely and give a shape like tikki.
In plate add some corn flour and coat the tikki in it.
Heat a pan add oil and add tikki one by one and roast till crispy and golden from both side.
Tikki is ready
Take 2 tikkis in a serving plate add curd,green chutney,tamarinda chutney,chopped onion,
chopped tomato on top.
Now sprinkle jeera powder,chat masala,red chilli powder and garnish with sev.
Yummy mouthwatering aloo tikki chaat is ready to serve.
