WHITE BREAD|| SOFT AND SPONGY WHITE BREAD IN KADHAI||

White Bread

Soft and Delicious,with just a touch of sweetness,just like store-bought bread,this white bread is made with simple ingredients. We consume bread in our day-to-day life,mostly in breakfast. This homemade white bread is free of preservatives,unlike the store bought bread. I guarantee you will never get store bread after eating this!

Ingredients:

2 and 1/2 cup maida(all purpose flour)

3 tbsp milk Powder

1/2 tsp salt or as per taste

2 tbsp Sugar

1 and 1/2 tsp Instant Active Dry Yeast

1 cup lukewarm water

Oil(as needed)

Bread Mould

Milk/Butter(For Greasing)

Method:

In a large plate,add sieved maida,milk powder,salt,sugar,dry yeast and mix all dry ingredients well.

Add lukewarm water and knead dough. Dough will be sticky.

Stretch dough and keep kneading so that yeast will activate properly and bread's texture will improve. Knead for 15 minutes or till dough becomes soft. Add little oil in between.(For watching,see my youtube video below).

Tuck dough and keep dough in a greased bowl. Apply 1 tsp oil on dough and rest it for 2 hours.

After 2 hours,dough rises and yeast gets activated properly. Add 1 tsp oil and punch/knead dough for 2-3 minutes.

Apply 1/4 tsp oil and knead and shape it circular with help of your rolling pin and roll it as the size of your bread mould.

Grease mould with oil and roll the dough tightly and pinch the last part of dough.

Shape the dough in the shape of bread mould and rest it for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes,grease the upper part with milk/oil.

Meanwhile,preheat the kadhai and add salt or 2 inch stand. Place the mould and bake it for 30-35 minutes.

After 30-35 minutes,bread is baked properly. Demould it.

Grease loaf with milk/butter to keep it soft.

Cover it with wet cloth/cling wrap to maintain it's softness.

Cut the loaf in slices with a sharp knife and bread is ready!


Note/Tip:

1. I have mostly used oil for greasing,you can use milk/butter/ghee.

2.If the upper part of bread is not baked,then demould bread and place it below and bake for 5-10 minutes.
