VADA PAV || VADA PAV SPECIAL CHUTNEY RECIPE ||

Vada Pav


Vada Pav is the most popular street food served in every corner of Mumbai, Maharashtra. Vada Pav is basically made up of 3 things- Batata(Potato) Vada,Pav and Garlic Chutney. I have shared it in different categories for easy understanding. I have also shared Jain Ladi Pav and Sweet Bun Recipe in my Youtube Video as well as in my Blog-click on names to view. Pav is easily available in super stores and bakeries in Maharashtra. Vada Pav Can be eaten in ant time like Breakfast,brunch and Evening Snacks. Vada Pav goes very well with Indian Tea,Fried Green Chillies,Sauce,Green Chutney and Many More...


Ingredients:


For Garlic Chutney:-


2-3 tbsp Oil


6-7 Garlic Cloves


1/4 cup Peanuts


1 tbsp Dry Sesame Seeds


1/4 cup Decicated Coconut


1 tsp Coriander Powder


1 tsp Red Chilli Powder


Salt as per Taste


For Vada Pav Batter:-


1 cup Gram Flour(Besan)


Salt as per taste


1/2 tsp turmeric Powder


1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder


Pinch of Baking soda


1 cup Water


For Vada Pav Stuffing:-


2 tbsp Oil


1/2 tsp Cumin seeds(Jeera)


1/2 tsp Asafoetida(Hing)


6-7 Curry Leaves


2-3 Chopped Green Chillies


1 tbsp Garlic Paste


1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder


Salt as per Taste


3-4 Medium Sized Potatoes(Boiled and Mashed)


For Making Vada Pav:-


2 Pav(small Loaf)


Prepared Batata Vada 


Prepared Garlic Chutney


Green Chillies


Method:


For Garlic Chutney:-


In a pan/Kadhai,add oil and let it heat.


Add Garlic Cloves and let it's colour change.


As colour changes,add peanuts,sesame seeds and mix well.


Add decicated coconut,coriander powderand mix well.


Add red chilli powder,salt and mix well. Turn off the flame.


As it cools,take in mixer jar and make chutney.


For Vada Pav Batter:-


In a bowl,add besan,turmeric powder,salt,red chilli powder,baking soda and mix well.


Add water and make a perfect consistency Batter. Batter should neither be thick nor thin.


For Vada Pav Stuffing:-


In a pan/kadhai,add oil and let it heat.


Once it heats,add cumin seeds,hing,curry leaves,green chillies,garlic paste and mix well.


Add turmeric powder,salt and potatoes and mix it well. Let it cool.


As it cools,make balls out of stuffing of your wish size.


Coat the balls in prepared batter. Meanwhile heat oil.


Fry Vadas Until Golden and Crisp.


For Making Vada Pav:-


Take Pav and spread Prepared Garlic Chutney.


Place Prepared Batata Vada and green Chilli.


Enjoy with Fried Chillies and Tea!
