Mutter Paneer Pulao In Pressure Cooker
A tasty pulao with soft rice,spongy green peas and soft paneer that also gives you an amazing taste of spices like bay leaf,tej patta cloves. You can make this recipe anytime and also on special occasions. I am using regular surti kolam rice,but,you can use basmati rice for more taste.I made some changes to the original mutter paneer pulao recipes to make taste preference.

1 cup rice(soaked and drained)
2 tbsp kitchen king masala
1/2 tbsp kasuri methi
1 bay leaf
1 inch cardamom stick
1 clove
2 medium sized chopped onions
1 small bowl green peas
2 tbsp oil
1 small cup paneer(shallow fried)
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 1/2 cup water
Salt as per taste
1 tbsp chilli ginger garlic paste
1 tsp garam masala powder
Method:
In a pressure cooker,Add oil and let it heat.
Add cumin seeds,bay leaf,cardamom stick and clove and let the cumin seeds colour change.
Add onion and let the onion colour change golden brown.
Once,onion colour changes,add chilli ginger garlic paste and mix well.Add green peas and kitchen king masala and mix well.
Add salt and garam masala and mix well.add paneer and mix well.Add rice and mix it well.
Add 1 and 1/2 cup water and kasuri methi.
Once water start boiling pressure cook on a medium flame for 3 whistles
Allow the steam to escape before opning lid
Serve hot with raita and potato chips.
Suggestion: You can also use cardemom pod and basmati rice for more taste.
If you are useing basmati rice than Clean, wash and soak the rice in enough water for atleast 10 to 15 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
