Gujarati Snack Dhokla
Gujarati Dhokla is a popular recipe that comes from the Gujarat.It can also be eaten as a breakfast or at the evening tea time snack. It is very delicious and of amazing taste.It has different varieties like from rice flour,udad dal,rava dhokla.

Ingredients:
2 cup besan(gram flour)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder(haldi)
3 tbsp dahi
Salt as per taste
Water as required
3 tbsp rava(sooji)
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp citric acid
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tbsp eno(fruit salt)
For Tadka:
1/4 cup water
2 boria pepper(optional)
1 dry chilli
8-10 Curry leaves
2 tbsp oil
1/4 tsp hing(asafoetida)
2 tbsp white til(sesame seeds)
1/2 tbsp cumin seeds(jeera)
1/2 tbsp mustard seeds
Method:
In besan,add rava,salt,citric acid,sugar and turmeric powder and mix all the dry ingredients.
Add dahi and mix well.Add water and make a smooth batter and make sure there are no lumps in the batter.
Add 2 cups of water in a pressure cooker and remove the whistle.Keep a stand in and place the tin inside.Let it steam mixture for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes,Open the lid of pressure cooker,insert a toothpick and check if it is made properly.let it cool for 5-7 minutes.
Take the dhokla mixture in a plate and cut the mixture into square shape.
Heat a pan and add oil,Add mustard seeds and let it pop.
Add cumin seeds and let it splatter.Add dry chilli,boria pepper and curry leaves.
Add hing and sesame seeds and mix it well.
Add the tadka in the top of the dhokla.
Enjoy this yummy and delicious dhokla!
After 20 minutes,Open the lid of pressure cooker,insert a toothpick and check if it is made properly.let it cool for 5-7 minutes.
