KESAR LASSI

Kesar Lassi

Today’s recipe is an easy to make summer drink made with yogurt and kesar.Lassi is a integral part of punjabi culture it is usually served with lunch or after dinner as a sweet treat.



Ingredients:



1 cup/bowl curd

8-10 strands of saffron soaked in 2 tbsp of water for 20-30 minutes

3 tbsp of sugar

4-5cubes of ice

To garnish pistachio flakes

Method:-

In a blender add the curd, soaked saffron, sugar, cardamom powder and ice cubes blend it all together now mix it well and take lassi in a serving glass.










Delicious Kesar Lassi is ready to serve! Garnish with almond or pistachio flakes.

Tips:For Making Home Made Curd:-

Take curd and beat it lightly and add it to the warm milk. Mix and break lumps if any. Keep aside for 5 hours and then refrigerate.

You can also add cardemom powder in a lassi for more taste.
