MOONG DAAL NUTS VADA

Moong Daal Nuts Vada 

I have made moong daal vada with some innovation. I am not using onion or ginger garlic instead of this I am using nuts. I hope you all like my recipe.😊

Moong dal nuts vada is the smooth blend of soaked yellow moong dal with spices and nuts. This is the most easiest snack dish, which can be enjoyed on daily basis. Try these vada in your kitchen and enjoy them with a cup of evening tea☕.



Preparation Time:30-45 Minutes

Cooking Time :15-20 Minutes

Total Time :20 Minutes

Serve:4

Ingredients:



Yellow Moong dal soaked in water for 1 or 1/2 hours.
and drained 1 cup.

1 small bowl coarsely grind/chopped (kaju and almond)

Oil for deep frying and grasing

Salt as per taste

1 tsp cumin powder

1 tsp saunf powder(fennel seeds powder)

3/4 tsp besan (as needed)

1 tsp red chilli flakes(or finely chopped green chilli)

1 tsp black pepper powder

1 pinch baking soda

Salt as per taste.

Water as needed.

For garnishing Fried cashewnuts and almonds.

Method:

Grined soaked moong daal (Coarsely grined).

Take a bowl add grined moong daal, fennel seeds powder,black pepper powder,besan,red chilli flakes,salt baking soda ,cumin powder,and coarsely griend/chop nuts.



Mix all ingredients well.Add water in mixture as required and make batter for vada.(batter should not very runny).



Heat sufficient oil in a kadai,make small balls from the batter and deep fry few balls in hot oil until golden and crisp.Drain on absorbent paper.




Transfer the vada onto serving plate, garnish with fried cashwnuts and almond 

Serve hot with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
