Aate Ka Halwa
Aate ka halwa is a popular sweet made in north India.Aate ka halwa is easy to make.This halwa can be made for any festival or any day.it could be a celebration.This is a healthy halwa recipe and to make it more nutritious,you can add cashewnuts or raisins.

Total time:15 Minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup aata(Whole Wheat Flour)
Half cup ghee
Half cup sugar (as required)
1 cup milk or water(optional)
1 tablespoon whole cashewnuts(optional)
Method:
Heat the ghee in a kadai or pan.
Add the whole wheat flour to the hot ghee in the kadai or pan.
Stir continuosly till the colour changes of the flour and you get the aroma of roasted whole wheat flour.
Keep on stiring to ensure even browning.
Then add cashewnuts and keep stiring continuosly.
When atta turn golden and give good fragrance,add sugar and milk.
Continue to stir so that no lumps are formed.
The halwa will absorb milk and continue to thicken quickly.
When it becomes thick,switch off the flame.
Serve atte ka halwa hot and garnish with cashewnuts.
