Puri For Pani Puri


Pani Puri is a popular street food of India which is basically a combination of 3 main Ingredients- Puri Or Golgappe,Pani Puri Water and Aloo Stuffing. I have already shared recipe of Pani Puri in my youtube Video. But,making crunchy puris is difficult. So I am sharing the recipe of Puri in this blog.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Semolina(Suji)

2 tbsp All Purpose Flour(Maida)

7 tbsp Water

Oil For Frying

Method:

In a bowl,Add suji,maida and hot water and knead the dough for 8-9 minutes. Knead dough super soft just like all purpose flour.(I have shown the step by step kneading in my Youtube Video Below)

As dough becomes soft,Cover it with wet napkin for 15 minutes .

After 15 minutes,knead dough again for 5 minutes.

Now make small balls out of that dough and start rolling it into thin puris. Till then,cover rest of balls with wet napkin.

Now place a napkin on plate and keep puris on that and let it get dried from 1 side till 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes,change the side of puris and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Now,Heat oil properly and Fry 2-3 puris and fry it carefully till colour changes.

Puri is ready!Let it cool.

Note/Tip:

1. For Puris,dough should be Soft.

2. Roll Puris thin,but not that thin that surface is seen.

3. If you want to make more puris,you can double the quantity of ingredients.
