POHA PAPAD || LOCKDOWN SPECIAL

Poha Papad



Poha Papad(Flattened Rice Papad) is an very easy papad which you can make at home during Quarantine. An easy papad which you don't need to roll out using rolling pin. I have recently uploaded the recipe of Khichiya Papad in my Youtube Video-click on name to view in Youtube as well as in my blog,but this is comparatively very easy.


Ingredients:


1 cup Flattened Rice(Poha)


4 cup Water


1/4 tsp Salt


1/4 tsp Papad Khar


1 tsp Chilli Flakes


Method:


Take Poha in a bowl and add 1 cup water and wash it 2-3 times and soak it for 30 minutes.


Take Soaked poha in a mixer jar and add 1 cup water and make a fine paste.


Take paste in a bowl and add 2 cups water in it.


Take Mixture in pan/kadhai and mix it continuously on low flame.


As mixture heats,add salt and papad khar and mix well.


Add chilli flakes and mix it continuously on low flame for 15 minutes.


After 15 minutes,turn off the flame and let it cool.


Now,spread a plastic sheet in a smooth surface and with the help of spoon,pour it. No need to spread it as it takes shape on it's own. (You can see in my Youtube Video Given below)


Dry it for 2 days under sunlight or fan.


After 2 days,heat oil and fry papads until crispy.


Take Papad in serving plate and Enjoy!
