Sev Ki Sabzi
Sev ki sabzi is a quick and easy dish of Gujarat and Rajasthan.In Gujarat,it is popularly known as gatiya nu shaak.I am using Bhavnagri gathiya for this sabzi, you can use other sev as per your choice.
Preparation Time:5 Minutes
Cooking Time: 8-10 Minutes
Total time:15Minutes
Ingredients:
1 bowl bhavnagri gathiya(sev)
1 onion chopped
1 tomato chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp mustard seeds
Salt to taste
6-8 curry leaves
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
Pinch of hing
2 tbsp oil
1 cup water(as needed)
Coriander for garnishing
Method:
Heat oil in a deep pan/kadai,add cumin seeds and mustard seeds,let cumin seeds turn golden brown.
Add chopped onion and cook till onion become transparent.Add hing,ginger garlic paste and saute till it become light brown colour.
Add chopped tomato and cook till tomatoes sofen,add salt.Stir it for few minutes.
Add dry masala,turmeric powder,coriander powder,red chilli powder and stir ti for few minutes so that,masala mix evenly.
Now,add water in a pan,let it boil for 4-5 minutes.When gravy is boiled well,turn off the flame.
Take gravy in a bowl. add sev in it and mix well.
Note: Adjust water as per requirement. You can add sev in boiling gravy also.
