Ingredients:
1 bowl makhana(lotus seeds)
1 small cup cashewnuts
10-12 curry leaves
1/4 tsp. mustard seeds
1/2 tsp. chaat masala
1/4 tsp turmaric powder
1-2 green chillis
1/4 tsp.red chilli powder(optional)
salt to taste
1-2 tsp.ghee.
Method:
Heat a pan/kadai,add ghee and let it melt
Add mustard seeds,curry leaves,green chilllies and let it pop.
Now add cashewnuts and fry till it become light brown in colour and than add turmeric powder.Mix it well
Add makhana and cook for about 5 minutes on low flame by Stirring continuosly.
Add chat masala,red chilli powder and salt if needed.
your healthy,tasty makhana chiwda is ready.
Let it cool down store in a tight jar.
Note: You can also add peanuts.
