Microwave Suji Dhokla

Microwave Suji Dhokla



Ingredients:

1/2 Cup suji

1/2 cup curd

6-7 curry leaves

2 green chilli

1 tsp mustard seeds

1 tsp cumin seeds

salt as per taste

1/2 cup water 

1 tsp Garlic-ginger-chilli paste

1 tsp eno(Fruit Salt)

1tbsp sugar

Method:

In a bowl add suji(Rava)

Add curd,Salt and mix well

Now add 1/4 cup water and  mix well and keep aside for 15 minutes

After 15 minutes add ginger-garlic-chilli paste and water as rquired to make batter (like Idli batter)

Add eno and mix it well until mixture become fluffy

Greas a microwave safe bowl using oil 

Pour batter in microwave safe bowl 

Tap it well.

Cover a bowl with lid(microwave Safe dish)

Microwave on high for 4 minutes

After 4 minutes dhokla is ready

Demould dhokla in a plate

Tempering Time:

In a small pan 

Add 2 tbsp oil once oil hot enough 

Add Mustared seeds,cumin seeds,hing and let it splutter

Now add curry leaves,green chilli,sugar and 3 tbsp water (add carefully)or turn off the flame before adding water 

Let it water boil for minutes and turn off the flame

Pour tadka on dhokla and serve with chutney.
