POTATO MASALA PURI

Potato Masala Puri

A perfect combination to enjoy this crispy, and delicious flavour of puffed Puris with any pickle or sabji. Aloo Masala Puri is a very popular Indian breakfast dish.The best pickle with this dish is mango pickle.It is an yummy breakfast dish that will fill your tummy.

Cooking Time:15 Mniutes

Total Time:35 Minutes

Ingredients:



2-3 medium sized potato(boiled and mashed)

1 bowl wheat flour

Salt as per taste

1 tbsp coriander leaves(chopped)

Water as required

1 tbsp kasuri methi

1 tbsp coriander powder

Pinch of hing(optional)

Oil for frying and greasing

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp ajwain

1/2 tsp red chilli powder

Method:

In a plate,add wheat flour,mashed potato and all the dry ingredients.Mix all the dry ingredients well.









Add little of water and make a dough keep kneding still u get smooth and tight dough.Add oil and knead.Then,rest it  for 10 minutes.



After resting time knead the dough again.




Now,make small balls and make puris (it should  not be too thick or thin)Meanwhile,heat a oil in a kadhai. Once oil hot Slice one puri into hot oil.




As it is puff up bottom side is light brown than flip it.Fry the other side until it is light golden brown.





Remove it from the oil,fry all puris and serve. 

Serve hot with sabzi or pickle!
