MILK POWDER PEDA

Milk Powder Peda

Peda is a most favourite indian sweet.Milk peda is traditionally made with evaporated milk or with khoya I made this peda with short method using very few ingrdients like condensed milk and milk powder.Hope you all like this recipe.


 Preparation Time:10 Minutes

Cooking Time: 20 Minutes

Total Time:30 Minutes 

Servings:4

Ingredients:


1 Bowl milk powder

1 Bowl condensed milk 

1/4 cup Kesar milk

1-2 tbsp ghee

Almonds and pistachios for garnishing

Method:

Add saffron to the warm milk and set a side. 

Heat a pan and add condensed milk.


Now add milk powder and saffron milk and mix it well.


Cook on a low flame until mixture thickens.(stir continuously).


Continue to cook until mixture reaches a soft and dough consistency.


Once you get right consistency Turn off the flame it will take 8-10 minutes.

Take mixture into a plate let it cool until just lukewarm grease mixture with a ghee and knead like a dough.


Now take some mixture and roll into a small ball of desired size flaten lightly with your thumb/finger.


Garnish with almonds and pistachio's.

Refrigerate Peda in airtight container for 2-3 days.

Suggestion:

Peda mixture is sticky so apply some ghee on a palm while shaping a peda.
