POTATO PAPAD ROLLS

Potato Papad Rolls

This is the most easiest and tastiest starter, which is  perfect for any party or as a short time snack.You can use leftover boiled potatoes,vegetable and paneer for stuffing. I am using potaoes and cheese stuffing.Papad Roll is simply a delicious Indian appetizer served as a stuffed papad.Serve Immediately.




Ingredients:


6 papad (crushed)

1 glass water

1 cup boiled , peeled and mashed potatoes

1 Small cup plain flour (maida)

2-3 cheese cubes (grated)

1-2 finely chopped green chillies ( as per taste)

Salt to taste.

Method:

Combine the potatoes, green chillies, salt and cheese in a bowl mix it well.



Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and shape like a roll (small cylinder shape).



Dip each roll in the (maida) plain flour-water mixture and roll in the papad till they are evenly coated from all the sides.









Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadhai/pan and deep-fry, a few rolls at a time on a low flame, till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides. Drain on absorbent paper.








Serve hot with ketchup or chutney.
