PIZZA BASE

Pizza Base

This is the dough for your  pizza. It's easy to make and roll out. Top with sauce, cheese and different toppings. 



Ingredients:

Refined flour - 2 cup

Semolina - 2 tbsp

salt - 1/2 tbsp

oil - 1 tbsp

Sugar - 1 tsp

Instant dry active yeast - 1 tsp

METHOD:

Dissolve yeast and sugar in hot water.

Let sit for 8 minutes.

Meanwhile mix flour,semolina and salt.

Pour yeast mixture over flour mixture and mix well with spoon.

Turn onto floured surface and knead for 2 minutes.

After kneading the dough, grease your hands with some oil and knead the dough for 3-5 more minutes until smooth. Dough for making pizza base is ready.

Spread into a 12-14" circle.

Take one big lid dust it with some dry flour and place it over rolled pizza base. Now press gently and make a round base. Pizza base is now ready.

Now take a baking tray, place a butter paper over it and grease it with some oil. Place the pizza base over butter paper. Likewise prepare second pizza base and place it over butter paper. 

Cover the pizza base with cloth and keep them aside for 2 hours so that they get puffy and set. After this bake them. 

Preheat oven on 200 degree centigrade. Place the baking tray in oven and set oven for 5 minutes on 200 degree centigrade. Allow the pizza base to bake. Check after 5-7 minutes.

Pizza base is ready for toppings.

Note:Time may different for making pizza base as per ovan models.
