GULAB JAMUN || SUJI GULAB JAMUN
Suji Gulab Jamun
Super delicious Suji Gulab Jamun which is easy to make and you need only simple ingredients. It taste as same as Normal Gulab Jamun. Gulab Jamun can be made in different ways,in my blog as well as in Youtube Channel,I have shared Milk Powder Gulab Jamunand this is another one. This jamun is only made with suji. It just melts in your Mouth. It turns out very yummy,try It!
Ingredients:
For making Sugar Syrup:-
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Water
1 tsp Cardamom Powder(Elaichi)
3-4 Saffron Strands(Optional)
2-3 drops Lemon Juice
For Gulab Jamun:-
2 cups Milk
1 tbsp Ghee
1 and 1/2 cup Semolina(Suji)
1-2 tbsp Milk Powder(Optional)
1 tsp Ghee
Method:
For Making Sugar Syrup:-
In a saucepan,add Sugar,Water,Cardamom powder and Saffron Strands and boil until one String Consistency.
For Gulab Jamun:-
In a Pan,add milk and let it boil slightly.
Add ghee and Suji and mix till form dough like Structure.
Add milk powder and mix well.
After it cools down slightly,Make dough. Add ghee in between for soft consistency and knead for 5-6 minutes .
After 5-6 minutes,make balls and no cracks should be there.
Meanwhile,heat oil/ghee on medium flame and fry Gulab Jamuns until colour changes.
Add gulab jamun in medium hot Sugar syrup and soak it for 1 hour or till soaks sugar syrup.
